The maximum SPL is 156 dB, and the equivalent noise level is 16 dB(A), making it feature the best dynamic range in its class. Due to its robust construction and impeccable performance, it is ideal for situations where a high sound pressure level is required on stage, such as for cymbals and overheads, but also for strings and other low-dynamic acoustic instruments, classical ensembles, and choirs recording in various fields, including live performances, broadcasts, and studio recordings. Inspired by legends and advanced for the modern recording engineer, the CC8 boasts a linear frequency response and naturalness, with an open sound.
