In order for the measurement to be reliable, several rules must be followed, among others, the humidity and temperature must meet the permissible limits of the meter manufacturer. The lux meter must be properly calibrated and the person taking the measurement must interfere with the measurement as little as possible (e.g. do not stand in line at the light, wear dark clothing without reflective ornaments).
