Inexpensive Skywatcher EQ3-2 equatorial mount. Most telescope mounts are of this type. Used everywhere from the smallest telescopes to observatory-grade instruments. Unlike an azimuth mount, this mount is designed to compensate for the earth's rotation by rotating only around one axis, the right ascension. The other axis is called the declination axis.
