Fujifilm XT-5 body
+ Fujifilm XF 16-50mm f/2.8-4.8 R LM WR lens

First photo

The X-T1 was originally released in 2014 to celebrate Fujifilm's 80th anniversary. This will lead to a revolution in mirrorless cameras. Almost a decade and five generations later, Fujifilm's latest imaging technology has arrived in the X-T5, giving photographers unrivaled image quality in a timeless, classic and beloved camera body.

X-Trans CMOS 5 HR
The high-resolution 40.2MP X-Trans CMOS 5 HR sensor features an advanced image processing algorithm that increases resolution without compromising signal-to-noise ratio for stunning image quality.

X-processor 5
  • Double the processing speed of X-Processor 4
  • AI processing technology
  • The next generation HEIF video file format
  • Reduced energy consumption

Three top plate dials
Three dials control ISO, shutter speed and exposure compensation from the camera's top panel. Along with the aperture ring on most XF lenses, all exposure settings can be checked and adjusted before turning on the camera. Create with confidence and focus on creating your image.

Lightweight, high performance
The X-T5 features a five-axis in-body image stabilization (IBIS) system that provides up to 7.0 stops of compensation and a 3.69-million-dot EVF with 0.8x magnification. Despite this, the camera body weighs only 557g. Counters and buttons allow for easy control, so life's most precious moments can be documented and seen the next day.

Three-way tilting LCD
The 3-way tilting LCD screen offers more versatility, especially when working at waist level or in a vertical position. The combination of a tilting LCD and a central viewfinder aligns the lens, camera and photographer on an optical axis for more comfortable and intuitive imaging.

Film modeling
The 19 film simulation modes inside the X-T5 digitally recreate the look of the classic photographic films that Fujifilm has created for over 85 years. Recreate the classic colors and tones that Fujifilm is famous for, or add an artistic flair and start creating your own legacy.

White balance
Auto White Balance (AWB) can be fine-tuned in three modes: Auto, White Priority and Ambient Priority. When white priority is set, white is reproduced more often as white under an incandescent lamp. However, when Ambient Priority is set, scenes will be captured in natural lighting. When illuminated by an incandescent lamp, the image will generally have warmer white tones.

AWB is powered by AI technology
New deep learning AI technology optimizes the X-T5's auto white balance performance by accurately identifying warm orange colors to aid the accuracy of the camera's auto white balance.

Object detection autofocus
The X-Processor 5 has subject detection AF developed using Deep-Learning AI technology. In addition to incredible AF tracking and human face and eye detection, the X-T5 can now also automatically detect and track a wide range of subjects, including animals, birds, cars, motorcycles, bicycles, airplanes and trains. This allows photographers to focus on composition and creativity, confident that the X-T5 will accurately track focus.

Updated AF algorithm
The X-T5's larger pixel count increases the number of phase detection pixels, which improves AF-S focus accuracy on subjects including landscapes and portraits. The camera also features an improved AF prediction algorithm, the newly developed X-H2S, which ensures stable focus even with AF-C.

160 MP Pixel Shift Multi-Shot
The X-T5 features Pixel Shift Multi-Shot using Pixel Shift Combiner software, capable of creating a single ultra-high resolution 160MP image with a single press of the shutter button.

Using in-body image stabilization to move the sensor half a pixel between each shot, the X-T5 takes exactly 20 shots to ensure that each red, green and blue point contains the same information. The result is a final image with almost no visible false colors.

1/180,000 sec shutter speed
The X-T5 has a maximum electronic shutter speed of 1/180,000, which is about a 2.5-stop increase over other X-series cameras. Use it with wide apertures in extremely bright environments for more creative possibilities or to stop the action at the right moment.

ISO 125 standard sensitivity
X-Trans CMOS 5 HR has a more light-efficient pixel structure. ISO 125 (formerly High Sensitivity) is now natively available.

Supports HEIF video format
The X-T5 supports the HEIF image format, which delivers 10-bit image quality in files that are up to 30% smaller than standard JPEGs. The next chapter in the X series, dedicated to high-quality results straight from the camera, has officially begun.

Increased battery life
Thanks to the lower power consumption of the X-Processor 5 compared to the X-T4, battery life for still images has increased significantly from around 600 to 740 shots.

Very reliable, weatherproof housing
The X-T5 has 56 weatherproof points for high resistance to dust and moisture. It can also operate in temperatures below -10°C.

6.2K/30p 4:2:2 10 bit
6.2K movies can be recorded internally at 30p resolution in 4:2:2 10-bit color, resulting in high-definition footage with rich color detail.

F-Log2 support
In addition to F-Log, the X-T5 also supports F-Log2, which records an extended dynamic range of 13+ stops. This range is wider than the current F-Log, thus expanding the post-production potential.

RAW output via HDMI
When connected to an ATOMOS HDMI device, RAW video output from the X-T5 can be recorded as 12-bit Apple ProRes RAW at resolutions up to 6.2K and frame rates up to 29.97fps. Combined with Blackmagic Design Video Assist 12G, RAW video output from the camera can be recorded as Blackmagic RAW resolution up to 6.2K and frame rates up to 29.97fps.

Two SD card slots
The X-T5 has two SD card slots, both UHS-II compatible.
