ℹ️ How ZigBee works?

ZigBee operates at2.4 GHzand uses a MESH network, so each fully powered L+N device strengthens the signal for other devices. If a sensor cannot connect directly to the gateway, it can connect via another ZigBee device.

ZigBee responds instantly –0.2 s, while WiFi takes around 5 s. WiFi networks may struggle with 25 devices, while ZigBee allows up to 50 devices without performance loss.

ZigBee consumes very little energy, and event history (door openings, temperature, motion) can be stored for months.
