PROTECT-218 is a mobile recorder designed for installation in buses, city buses, coaches, trams, metro, corporate and private vehicles and special vehicles, i.e. trucks, police cars, prison or military vehicles, ambulances.
The equipment is specially designed to provide increased resistance to vibration and shock.
The recorder supports a 2.5" drive with a capacity of 2 TB.
The PROTECT-218 power cables connect to the battery and the ignition system (analog like a radio), so that after turning the key, the installation automatically starts recording audio-video.
Additionally, the device has power backup and continues recording within 8 seconds after the voltage disappears.
PROTECT-218 has 4 video inputs, 3 of which are with standard M12 connectors and one (the first) with a 10-pin connector.
The CAM1 connector is a connector with a DSM signal, which allows you to connect a special camera that studies driver behavior.
The CAM2 connector allows you to connect an ADAS camera that monitors vehicle movement.
