The lactobacilli in Aptobalance Pet multiply rapidly in the small intestine, where they stabilize the microflora and lower the local pH. Subsequently, the amount of benign bacteria increases and the living conditions for pathogenic bacteria to survive deteriorate. Pectin protects the intestinal mucosa. Seaweed contains many important trace elements.
