The design of the Kali Audio LP-8 V2 studio monitor with an 8-inch bass element is focused on bringing a balanced sound, regardless of the genre, to a price range suitable for everyone. An advanced three-dimensional rectifier, a large voice coil and precise tuning produce a clear and precise sound, while a larger-than-normal lower end magnet and a patented bass port bring power and impact to the reproduction of low tones. The bass port placed on the front side is shaped in such a way that the air moves at all points at the same speed. This way, the bass reproduction is punchy and reaches even so low that a separate subwoofer is not necessary. The active speaker is easily integrated into any system and can be transported to different mixing locations. The interface side covers every situation, and thanks to the six ready-made EQ mode settings, the playback is neutral regardless of the mixing position. The speakers can be quickly put into operation without complicated measurements, and the different ways of use are illustrated with clear drawings on the back panel of the speaker. Adjustment is easy with DSP switches.

The new, second generation offers a further improved amplifier with less noise, higher sensitivity and even smoother top end reproduction. The ready-made spatial EQ settings have been refined based on feedback, and the lighter bass cone produces a smoother response.
