Cultists who seek the knowledge of Yog Sothoth do so not to seek enlightenment, but to fulfill their evil agendas. Therefore, their connection with Yog Sothoth must be severed!

Cthulhu: Death May Die - Yog-Sothoth presents a new Ancient One in Cthulhu: Death May Die. Players can combine it with any scenario in the main game. Yog-Sothoth enhances the gameplay by adding additional gates to the board that duplicate normal gates, increasing the power of your next monster summon.

One way to add a gate is to use Yog Sothoth's unstoppable special monster Wilbur Whateley, who dies adding a gate to the board and is summoned again at full power after a short delay. However, this does not mean that the investigators are hopeless, Gates can be attacked and destroyed, dealing damage to the monsters in their square, which can be used to effectively stop the influx of abominations.

Cthulhu: Death May Die is a highly atmospheric cooperative scripted game for 1-5 players based on the literature of HP Lovecraft. Players take on the roles of investigators with unique skills and types of insanity who battle Cultists, Monsters, and ultimately face the Ancient One.

Over time, they will become more and more insane, which will enhance their abilities, but inevitably bring them closer to death.
