Thanks to the multi-function display of the WS40BK weather station, you can simultaneously control the readings of four temperature and humidity sensors. One sensor is installed in the weather station, the other three can be placed anywhere outside, in the bedroom or in the garage. Thanks to the LCD screens in the sensors, you can read the data even when you are close to them.

The Blaupunkt WS40BK weather station has a built-in sensor to measure the temperature and humidity in the room where it is installed. Three additional wireless sensors with LCD screens included in the kit can take measurements in the field or at any location of your choice. Data on temperature and humidity measurements are constantly updated and displayed on the LCD screen built into the weather station*. In addition, the device has a memory for measuring the lowest and highest values of temperature and humidity, which is automatically reset at the beginning of the next day. Temperature values can be displayed in Celsius or Fahrenheit.

Learn about trends in your environment, including weather trends.
In addition to temperature and humidity readings, there are trend indicators for these parameters. The arrows on the screen show how the measured values have changed in the last hour. An up arrow means that a given parameter has increased its value, a down arrow indicates a decrease in the value of a particular parameter, and a horizontal arrow means that the specified value has not changed.

You don't have to wait for the weather forecast, just look at our station!
The WS40BK weather station display also provides a graphical weather forecast for the next 12-24 hours. Note that this forecast is based on variations in atmospheric pressure and has limited accuracy, but it is a useful tool for estimating weather conditions for a specific location in the next few hours. Icons predicting sunny, partly cloudy, cloudy, rainy or snowy weather are available depending on prevailing conditions.

Blood pressure drops, time for a cup of coffee!
The WS40BK weather station has a built-in sensor for measuring absolute atmospheric pressure, and the reading is displayed on the screen. If you feel a sudden drop in energy or you're a weatherman, just look at the screen and if your blood pressure is low, it's a sign to prepare a cup of coffee. Please note that this weather station shows absolute atmospheric pressure, which may differ from official weather forecasts. The reason for this difference is that the relative pressure given in official weather forecasts is scaled down to sea level. The absolute pressure given in this model is the pressure measured at a given location at the corresponding altitude.

Increase the settings!
The WS40BK weather station has been carefully calibrated in our factory and the weather forecast will be calibrated automatically within the first two weeks of use. However, if you want to adjust it manually, you can do so during the initial setup.

What time, what day?
There is also a clock on the LCD screen that can display the current time in 12 and 24 hour format. For this reason, the station also acts as a useful watch. There is also a calendar next to the clock, which will tell you what day of the month and what day of the week it is. The names of the days of the week are available in seven languages (DE, EN, FR, IT, SP, DU and DA) and can be changed when setting the calendar.

Hello! Encouragement!
The WS40BK weather station also has an alarm function, so if you need to get up earlier, just set the time you want the alarm to go off and sleep soundly. The alarm will sound automatically, and if you want to sleep a little longer, turn on the snooze function and the alarm will sound again after 5 minutes. The alarm goes off with a beep that lasts for 2 minutes, long enough to wake up even the heaviest sleeper. You can also use the alarm clock not only to wake up, but also as a reminder of some important events of the day that you don't want to miss.

LCD screen! Is it getting dark? Of course I'm missing the point.
The WS40BK weather station display has a dimming function and no, it's not cheating, it's just changing the brightness of the backlight and, importantly, it's not doing it itself. You decide when to dim the screen for less distraction or better visibility. In addition, it has the function of automatic programming when the screen should darken and lighten. You simply set the time you normally go to bed and wake up, and the screen will dim and lighten accordingly so as not to disturb your sleep. Isn't that useless?

Feed.
You can connect the WS40BK weather station to the outlet using the included 5V 1200mA power supply, and the wireless outdoor sensors with two AA batteries included, a total of 6 pcs. remember the settings during a power outage, you need to buy 3 AA batteries and put them in the compartment on the back wall of the case! The station can work without these batteries, but in the event of a power outage, the appropriate settings will have to be made again. These extra batteries can also serve as an alternate power source if you take the station to a site where you don't have access to electricity. When running on battery power, the display will automatically turn off to save battery power. In addition, the LCD screen provides battery level indicators for all external sensors, so you'll know when the batteries are low and replace them in time.

Build or hang?
Do what works best for you. The body of the station is designed so that the entire device can be placed on a desk, table or windowsill, as well as hung on the wall, since there is a hole for a hook at the end of the station, and the power cable is laid in a special channel that does not complicate such installation. The included wireless sensor can also be placed or hung. Do not forget to place the sensor in a place protected from wind and rain and in the shade, without direct sunlight, as this can negatively affect the temperature and humidity values.
