The term ukiyo-e is usually translated as "pictures of the changing world" and refers to a type of Japanese painting and printmaking that originated in the Edo period. One of the world-famous works of this type is The Great Wave off Kanagawa, which also shows the color of those keyboard inlays. Well-designed motifs complement the project and turn the keyboard into a work of art. The Traitors Ukiyo-e set contains 109 keyboard cards for full-fledged German keyboard layouts. The keyboard covers are made of PBT, a particularly resistant semi-crystalline plastic. During the sublimation process, the five sides of the plastic are engraved with the inscriptions and the design statement, so they cannot be damaged. This makes Traitors keyboard covers very durable. The signature on the keycaps is opaque.
