A high-quality knife should only be used with a decent blade-friendly cutting board. In addition to the durability of the knife blade, the advantage of the wood fiber board is maintenance-free and moisture resistance. A cutting board made of biowood fiber can be washed in the dishwasher without worry and does not need to be sanded or oiled like a traditional solid wood board.

The board is significantly thinner than traditional wooden boards and feels hard under the knife at first, but softens quickly with use, and is friendlier to the knife blade than a plastic cutting board. The heat resistance of pressed wood fiber is also significantly higher than that of a traditional wooden board, so it can also be used as a pan tray without any worries. Biowood fiberboards have received NSF approval and therefore meet strict hygiene regulations. Board size 24 x 14 cm and thickness 6.5 mm.

Scratches on the surface of the board that occur during use can be removed with fine sandpaper, but this is often unnecessary because the scratches are only a cosmetic problem.
