Samyang AF 135mm F1.8 Sony FE telephoto lens

The Samyang AF 135mm F1.8 lens has 13 elements in 11 groups (1 U-ASP, 2 HR and 3 ED). Combined with Sony's full-cell, this lens offers excellent sharpness and contrast throughout the image area. The structure also features a UA (Ultra-Precision Aspherical) lens, which produces a natural and sophisticated bokeh.

This soft bokeh makes it easy to create images with subjects against a stunningly soft background, whether you're shooting portraits, close-ups or even cityscapes.

This lens has a modern and lightweight design and weighs only 772 g. It has a micro-patterned rubber focusing ring that is comfortable to use and good sealing ensures use even in harsh weather conditions. The lens has a focus lock button, a programmable button, and a focus area limit button. The programmable button allows you to silently adjust the aperture by rotating the focus ring. With the optional Lens Station, you can configure the switching function to your liking (additional features will be updated with new firmware in the future).

Pressing the lens' Focus Hold button keeps the lens locked to a certain focusing distance. You can configure functions such as Eye AF in the camera body settings.

The lens features Samyang’s linear STM (stepper motor), which pleases both light and video subjects with quieter and more precise control of lens groups.

The minimum focusing distance is only 0.69 m and the maximum magnification is 0.243x for close-ups. Small objects and other subjects can be captured with remarkable resolution and soft, beautiful background bokeh.
