The Joie i-Trillo FX safety belt seat meets all safety tests according to the new ECE R129 (i-Size) standard. The seat is suitable for a child 100–150 cm / about 4–12 years old, and is installed facing forward. The seat uses heat-responsive Memory Foam seat cushions that adapt perfectly to fit the child. The height of the headrest can also be raised up to 10 notches with one hand. There are fold-in cup holders for travel drinks in the corners of the seat. The seat's integrated Guard Surround Safety™ side impact protection significantly reduces the impact force from the side.

The Joie i-Trillo FX safety belt seat is installed in the car's ISOFIX system, which reduces the risk of incorrect installation and ensures a secure attachment. The ISOFIX lock also keeps the seat in place during the trip when the child is not sitting on the ride.

The removable cover of the safety seat can be washed in the washing machine (delicate wash at 30 degrees, no tumble drying).

*The aim of the I-SIZE R129 standard is to improve the safety of children on car journeys and to reduce the incorrect installation of seats. In the R129 standard, crash tests are performed with a test dummy equipped with 32 sensors instead of the traditional 4 sensors, and side impact in particular has been included as part of the acceptable marking.
